Willie White, Outsider Folk Artist, created subjects that are of fantastic prehistoric birds, alligators, dragons and flying horses, and his compositions are filled with bright marker color, a medium which he began to work exclusively in after the late 1960’s. He is one of folk arts ambassadors of fantasy and innocence, and more importantly, a true New Orleans original.
